It may not be much longer that we are allowed to move among the ruins of the past. Paestum feels so raw and untouched compared to ruins in cities or popular attractions like Stonehenge. The partially toppled and eroded columns and walls dotting the grounds pop against the crystal blue sky and emerald green trees of the fields beyond the old temple grounds.
