During my first year at Penn State we had multiple drawing courses and drawing components of our studio. The images taught me the importance of many architectural principles, such as lineweights, composition, structure, and shadow. I still go back to my roots with these drawings and break out the sketchbook when I need to get my creative juices flowing. First image: Uffizi in Florence, Italy. Second image: Analytique of the Darwin Martin House by Frank Lloyd Wright. Third Image: Exploded Axonometric of a transforming hammock I designed. Fourth Image: Villa Stein de Monze by le Corbusier.
